I’m not really sure what level to rate this book. I’m just starting it.

The book has several fascinating thoughts and ideas. Key to me so far are: a great non-profit does not necessarily need to be internally the “best run” organization in order to be effective; a great non-profit needs to be affecting “governance” changes among those institutions that establish or regulate society; a great non-profit needs to have a great vision, one with which the public can identify.

Many thoughts are swirling in my head in relation to Bible translation. Some things we are doing “right”. Some things… well… maybe God is speaking through this book that could result in more people around the world receiving His Word sooner rather than later.

Have you read this book? Tell me if you liked it!

Okay, I’m several chapters into the book. The more I read, the more I like it. The section on building advocates – passionate evangelists – is particularly thought provoking to me. Isn’t this what church should be like?
