So be prepared…

…because you don’t know what day your Lord is coming. (Jesus, in Matthew 24).

It is not a call to huddle down, but a call to action.

Yes, I’m not in Singapore any longer

Since Singapore, I’ve been back to Orlando, to Fort Wayne, and to several parts of Florida. (And I’m on the road again tomorrow!) Some travel is for family reasons, some for work.

Ruth and I had a great trip to Fort Wayne where I spoke at a banquet together with Don Erickson, the CEO of the Wycliffe Foundation. 76 people came to hear what God is doing around as his Word is translated into the languages of those still waiting. The focus of my presentation was on the lives that are changed as God’s Word becomes available to people never before reached with it – as well as on the remaining need and our strategies to reach them. Don’s presentation focused on the powerful impact Christians are having through estate planning – people who choose to invest a portion of their estate to fund activities they have loved over the years.
Not only was the opportunity to share a blessing personally, but seeing friends was also a treat.
