Survey questions are HARD to write! Today I am trying to polish out survey questions. Shortly we will be participating in the Best Christian Workplaces Institute annual survey. This survey attempts to determine what staff feel about working in your organization. (We did this last year also.)

The Institute supplies over 50 questions, and we get to create five custom questions for the survey – questions asked just of our staff.

This morning I had five questions that I thought might work. After talking them over with a few people, I’m down to three. The other questions just weren’t clear enough.

The one issue I really want to ask about concerns attitudes related to fundraising. Many people are happy to do fundraising on behalf of someone else. But to do fundraising for one’s own ministry is another thing altogether.
